Pinnacle Living is a community of four not-for-profit premier retirement communities in Virginia that are dedicated to Enriching Life’s Journey.
Founded in 1948 by The United Methodist Church, our organization has grown from a single community to four communities across Virginia offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Respite Care, Skilled Nursing, Memory Support, Rehabilitation Services, and higher levels of support for all of our residents — both current and future.
We make sure our services are tailored to your individual needs to help you remain independent and rest assured knowing you have a secure plan for the future. In addition, our team members are dedicated to creating communities where age does not define the person. The residents who call our communities home enjoy active and fulfilling lifestyles, great neighbors, and warm friendships. Whether you prefer the bustle and cultural opportunities of Richmond or the slow pace of life and abundant natural beauty of Roanoke, there is a community to fit everyone’s tastes. The geographic variety is matched by a diversity of investment options and community characteristics. Some people prefer to invest in the financial protection that Life Care provides; while others prefer not to invest any funds upfront to be free to invest or move as they please. Each campus has team members who specialize in helping future residents, their families, and advisers learn more about the options available at our communities.
We are excited to build on our foundation’s 70-year history of providing premier communities for residents of all ages and abilities. The family of Pinnacle Living communities includes:

The Hermitage Richmond team members are so friendly! Whenever anyone sees my mother, they make sure to call her by her name and say “hello”. They even stop to carry on a conversation with her. It makes her feel like a rock star.

I just want to say how much I appreciate the over-the-top care the staff in McGuire Park have given my mother, over the years since she’s been there. She has received good care from the other staff at the Hermitage as well, for which we are very appreciative, but the folks at McGuire Park

Thank you for giving my mother-in-law back her life again! After a few challenging years of living in an apartment, she moved to an assisted living facility. The quality of care there was dreadful but she did not want to move. My mother-in-law declined rapidly. She was moved to a locked

In 2009 my husband Jack, who had dementia, needed to move to a care center because of a fall and brain injury. After visiting all types and sizes of care locations, our family chose Hermitage Richmond. It was a size that allowed residents and their families to feel like we’re in a home rather
